7 things to do in Warwick | Southern Queensland Country
The banks of the Condamine River might well be the last place you’d expect to find some of Queensland’s most prestigious sandstone buildings, but the little town of Warwick proves it’s more than just roses and rodeos with every visit.
The main street’s sandstone architecture, which now services a town of just 15,130 people, points to a vibrant past that’s 150 years young.
Turn back the pages of history and learn more about this darling town on the Downs

Australian Rodeo Heritage Center
Restored from ruin in 2001, the iconic Glengallan House emerges from the ruins of the 1867 sandstone mansion as a unique heritage experience. Re-live the GFrom squattocracy to farmer settlement through an innovative interpretation that allows the place to tell its own story.
Open 10am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday, Glengallan is an exceptional venue for day trippers, tour groups, school visits, reunions, weddings, workshops, seminars, markets and rallies;
Pringle Cottage - Warwick Museum
As you enter the museum grounds through the heritage sandstone rose garden (built and designed by members to celebrate Warwick's 150th birthday in 2011) taking pride of place is our sandstone treasure, Circa 1870 built by Scottish stonemason John McCulloch.
Over the years it has been a home for Mr & Mrs McCulloch, 3 different schools, the last being Mrs Pringle's Milton College, a family home, boarding house, and a set of flats during W.W.2, then once again becoming a family home.
